It's no surprise that Brooklyn Nine-Ninewas co-created by Michael Schur, who is also behind The Office and Parks and Rec, two other wildly popular workplace sitcoms. In Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Schur brings the same sense of unique, irreverent humor he brought to a humdrum Pennsylvania office and a municipal parks and recreation department to a New York City police station.
