The Eternautis a brilliant Argentinian show on Netflix that was based on a comic book of the same name; the comic ran from 1957 to 1959 in an Argentinian comic magazine. Writer Héctor Germán Oesterheld and artist Francisco Solano López created an evergreen story relevant to sci-fi, comics, and the overall arts in Argentina, setting the story in Buenos Aires. This made the comic a lot more popular domestically and even worldwide, seeing people connect with an alien invasion story based in a non-US setting.
