There are many ways to nail a movie trilogy, and throughout history, there have been some masterclasses in trilogy filmmaking so exceptional that they've gone on to receive universal praise. It's hard enough for a film to be loved by pretty much everyone on the face of the planet, but for that success to transfer over to an entire trilogy? Now that's a rare and truly precious occurrence.
