It should hopefully go without saying that Blade Runner is an all-timer of a science fiction movie, and few others in the genre have ever been quite as good. But if it doesn't go without saying, hey, it was just said, so there. It's maybe the best Ridley Scott movie, which is saying quite a bit, and it's also one that's held up remarkably well in the 40+ years since its release, especially on a technical front.
