The Far Sidehas a funny way of making readers nostalgic. Actually, more than one; while readers, new and old alike, wish they could go back to the time of The Far Side’s publication, many of Gary Larson’s cartoons, in their own right, traded in a form of nostalgia, or at least treated fans to a lighthearted form of revisionist history, which made decades and centuries past seem fun.
