Thriller TV has always been big. A murder, disappearance, conspiracy, or dangerous secret can give almost any series an instantly gripping premise. The real challenge, though, is finding a show that remains worth watching after the initial mystery has done its job. A lot of thrillers begin with a great premise, only to lose momentum through repetitive twists, dragged-out investigations, or, worst of all, lukewarm reveals.
