There’s something just so fun about mashing horror and comedy together. The two genres are like peanut butter and chocolate (or cookies and cream, or blood and guts); they go together in a piquant, highly satisfying, guilty-pleasure kind of way. While this entertaining hybrid has existed for a long time (with a bunch of stellar examples emerging in the 80s), over the last 20 years some of the best horror-comedies ever have erupted on to the scene, leaving tears of laughter and terror in their wake.
