The different film industries from Africa have long, rich histories full of exceptional films. Although the continent's cultural position, lack of funding and infrastructure, and lackluster access to global distribution channels mean that these films often become criminally underrated gems, there's no excuse in today's hyper-digital world not to delve deep into this unique region of cinema.
